i would suggest for people not to purchase this item. i used it for about a week and i already have problems with this item. It didnt wanna heat up anymore. that was such a waste of money and im very upset!!! -- AWFUL!!!!

I paid 160 for my flat iron at the mall, which is kind of upsetting. However, I think it was worth it. I've only had it for about a week and I already love it. I work in a restaurant and normally my hair is gross by the time I get home even if I did straighten it before I left. This p[roduct is different. My hair is still silky smooth and perfectly straight by the time I leave. I love it! -- herstlyer flat iron... DONT buy it at the mall (apparantly i paid way more than i had to) but DO buy it

I bought this iron from the dude in the mall who kept following and harassing me by saying, "Please, can I just ask you a quick question about your hair?!" until I eventually gave in and let him work his magic. I must say, it did work a lot better than my Conair flat iron I had been using for the past year. Since I worked in the mall, I got an extra 15% off mall discount and the total was $65, so not bad. It's been two years since I bought this though, so it's definitely died down a bit. It doesn't heat up as high as it used to, which is understandable since myself and two other people in the house are using it all the time. But I've recently bought a Solia for $70 and it's AMAZING, even better than when I first bought the HerStyler. I'd seriously recommend that! I've used my friend's CHI too, which is also pretty good, but I felt like it made my hair too flat and a bit fried. -- It's good, but there are better..

I purchased this flat iron, first because its 100% ceramic and second because of the great reviews. Well, I used it yesterday for the first time and it pulled my hair horribly! I felt my hair breaking and there was a lot of it in the floor! I dont understand how come nobody says anything about that in their reviews. I have very fine, fragile hair and it gets stucked in the iron which makes it break. I have an iron at home that does not pull the hair but its not 100% ceramic so I was hoping this iron would work great for me...boy was I wrong! Has this happened to anyone else ????? -- Breaks your hair!!!!!
