I bought this last week and love it. My daughter and I have really thick, tightly curled hair (we do not have a relaxer or any other chemical treatment in our hair). It straightens our hair really fast! Of course we have to part off small sections at a time in order to straighten the hair properly. It takes about 45 minutes to do my hair (which is fast for me with the head full I have). We also use the Fantasia IC Hair Polisher Heat Protector Straightening Serum Fantasia Hair Polisher Heat Protector Straightening Serum 6 oz.. It works really well to protect our hair.

The only drawback with this item is the temperature dial print is soooo small. So if you're half blind like I am, you better put on your glasses or get a magnifying glass to see the numbers.

If you are looking for an inexpensive yet effective straightening iron, this is the one! The temperature gauge works well and the removable comb is great. This is the best straightening iron I've used so far and after this one dies, I plan to stick with the Babybliss line. -- Straight Hair Fast

I never spend a lot of $$ on flat irons, hair dryers or anything else but when my flat iron went out I HAD to get another one and fast. I asked my friend who is a hair stylist what she could recommend and she told me about BaByliss products so I ordered this one and I love it. Heats up super fast which is great for me in the mornings becasue I love to sleep in till the last min. :)

I love this hair straightener! I bought two of them as Christmas gifts for my teenage daughters after a friend recommended it to me. That was about four years ago and they still work! This is the third one I have purchased. They heat up almost instantly and work great. I can't imagine why anyone would want to pay for a more expensive product. -- Excellent product!

I bought this exact model two years ago for a decent price and LOVED it. It doesn't burn my fine hair, and leaves it silky smooth and strait in just a few minutes. I only have to go over each chunk of hair once to get a smooth, silky, soft, strait texture, and it's shinier too! I wasn't too gentle with my first iron, so it did finally die on me after being used almost daily for two years, but i bought the exact same model to replace it. -- best straightening iron ever

I have very thick curly hair and have a hard time getting it very straight and smooth . This flat iron definitely does the job and does it in about half the time that it used to take me to straighten my hair. I think this is a great product for the price. It leaves my hair silky smooth and I've never had any problem with static either (as some plates on irons do). -- Great product!
