Great product. I think it’s better than the Chi. Leaves my hair super soft, straight (or curly, when I chose), no static flyways and the style lasts.

I have a Remington flat iron that heats up to 430 degrees. At top heat, it cannot compare to the Babyliss iron at 350 degrees.

My hair is on the short side of medium; very straight and no body. I use the iron to give body and a bit of curl. With the Remington, I had to hold the hair in it for a few seconds and to flip the ends, I would have to do the same piece a couple of times.


Not so with this iron. I had to be careful not to leave the hair in the iron for long as it would give it too much curl.


Also, this iron is long enough that I’m not burning my fingers as I turn the iron in my hair.


Although the controls are on the side, I don’t find I’m turning it off while using the iron because the button is recessed.


Do not hesitate to buy this………..it’s the best you can find!!!!

I brought this item mainly for curling hair. My hair is naturally straight, but I like using it to make it pin-straight. In the past, I’ve had to use curling irons and I wanted to see if curling my hair with a straighter would make the ordeal quicker. It usually takes me 30 to 45 minutes to curl my hair.

First, this iron gets really really really hot. I’m asian and my hair is really coarse. Normally, I have the iron at 400 degrees or above to curl my hair. I have to lower the temperature on this flat iron because I was worried I was burning my hair. Since it gets so hot, its makes curling my hair difficult because I have to hold the end of the flat iron. I started using heat protectant gloves from my Le Angelique and Enzo Milano curling irons while curling my hair with this flat iron.

The end result is beautiful. Curling my hair with a flat iron creates curls the are much more bouncy and shiny than any curling iron I’ve used. The curls are much more longer lasting! Most of the time, my curls fall flat after a couple hours no matter what I do, these curls last for two days.

However, I have to say that my hair feels drier after curling my hair with a flat iron versus using a curling iron. So, I would not recommend curling your hair with a flat iron everyday if you want to grow your hair out.

I own several flat irons including hot tools and the chi. This one curls hair the best and easiest without pulling the hair. Another nice thing about this tool is that when you travel, you only need to bring one tool to straighten and curl!

This item did not curl my hair faster…mainly because my hair is coarse. I had to use small sections of my hair to run through the flat iron. I could use bigger sections of hair when using a curling iron.

Overall, a good buy.

After researching extensively, primarily Babyliss, I purchased the 1″ flat iron and love it. I had purchased the 1 1/4″ inch wide Babyliss Titanium, like that too but a bit too wide & the Babyliss Pro White with Swavorski Crystals (length of plates too short). The length of the plates with the 1″ & 1 1/4″was the selling point. The plates are smooth, making my hair smooth and temp control is excellent. LOVE IT!!! No sé si será la mejor plancha para el pelo que existe en el mercado, pero si sé que es muy, muy buena, deja el pelo super liso, brillante, no lo maltrata, la recomiendo totalmente!!!!
